But every time we played the track, every time we visualised the women singing blessings in that courtyard, we knew we could not step back. When the first cut of the video was ready, Dev and I sat quietly to watch it. As it played, we didn’t speak. When it ended, we just looked at each other… and hugged. We were in tears. Because what we were watching was not just a music video. It was a dream we had once whispered to each other. It was a childhood imagination taking shape.
